Description:
T2-I02. Individual lying in prone position with the face resting on the left side. The upper limbs were arranged with some lateral abduction and with the arms flexed 45º in pronation, so the hands would have to be resting on their dorsal part. The right arm rested on the individual I17. The legs were stretched out and the feet were resting on the dorsal surface.
The poor state of preservation of the body only allowed for a clear observation of the state of connection of the joints of the upper limbs. It was observed that the shoulders and elbows had a close connection, which suggests decomposition in a densely packed space.
This individual was positioned directly on individual I3 with their head on its feet and facing SE. The right arm was resting on individual I17, and therefore was placed later. Over their left shoulder was placed the right arm individual I4. The feet rested on individuals I1 and I11.
Height was estimated from the maximum length of the tibia (36 cm), resulting in a height of 164.31 ± 2.81 cm. The length of the skeleton gives very similar values, 165 cm.
Despite the poor state of preservation of the remains, it was possible to observe the presence of very marked longitudinal striations on the medial area of the right tibia (periostitis). No degenerative processes were identified.
