Description:
T2-I17. Adult male individual between 20-25 years of age, according to the occlusal wear and tear to age ratio.
In general, they had a very robust build, with a very marked linea aspera on the femur. No pathological process was observed.
Height could not be estimated because no long bones could be measured. However, the total length of the skeleton was approximately 145 cm (head - distal third of the tibia). Since it was not measured up to the feet for conservation reasons, it seems logical to believe that this value is an underestimate.
Individual lying in a prone position with the head resting on the left side directly on the lower back of the individual I16. The upper limbs, the left arm was absent due to bone degradation. The right humerus was in incomplete abduction with the elbow at a 45-degree angle, with the forearm in pronation. The lower limbs were extended and parallel to each other.
In general terms, the state of preservation was quite poor, with numerous absences of bone pieces. This made it impossible to observe the anatomical connections and infer the mode of decomposition. In any event, it must have been in an enclosed space similar to the rest of the individuals.
This individual was deposited with the head facing NW, directly on the bed of the pit between individuals I7 and I2. The right elbow was under individual I2, while part of the left side was under individual I8. On his legs were placed individuals I9 and I1.
