Description:
T2-I18. Adult male, 18-20 years old. The age was estimated based on the relationship between occlusal wear and age, and the non-eruption of the upper third molar.
The individual had a robust constitution with a somewhat marked linea aspera on the femurs. Despite the poor state of conservation, it was recorded that, similar to individual I12, this individual presented a double multiple and bilateral fracture at the height of the proximal third of both femurs produced perimortem.
Poor conservation made it impossible to measure the maximum length of the bones, so it is not possible to estimate the height. However, the total length of the skeleton was 159 cm (head - feet). In addition, this poor state of conservation of the remains prevented the observation of degenerative processes or other pathologies.
The individual was lying in a prone position with his face resting on the floor. The body was arranged fully extended with the upper limbs parallel to the body. As for the position of the hands, the right hand was placed laterally, while the left hand, due to pronation, was placed in the palmar position. The legs were stretched in parallel with the feet resting on the dorsal surface.
The upper extremities were found to have undergone little movement, and connections were close. In the case of the lower limbs, the poor state of preservation of the body prevented any observation.
This individual was deposited with the head facing SE between individuals I19, resting on the right half, and I14, on whom they rest. Under this individual, I12 was placed in the opposite direction, reproducing the same pattern as individuals I2 and I3 and individuals I8 and I6.
