Description:
Tomb T2 is a 70 m³ pit. It was excavated in a stepped manner in three levels and contains three groups of burials.

Five individuals were buried in the first level, three in the second level, and 19 in the third level. All of them were placed in an extended ventral decubitus position. The highest status individual, an adult male, was buried in the middle of the third level with his head facing east and his arms folded over his chest. His grave goods consisted of more than 70 items of gold (including four pectorals and four gold cuffs); copper, stone, bones, and animal teeth.

In the center of the second level was buried an individual who also must have been important since his grave goods, although not as rich as the main one, consisted of a pectoral and two gold cuffs, which are elements that are considered markers of high status.

A total of 1239 artifacts of 61 different varieties were collected in this tomb. Within the pit of this tomb were found three episodes of offering clearly identified by the interposition of blocks of sediments, some composed of ceramic effigy vessels; the second consisted of a human offering; and the third consisted of an adult, an infant, ceramics, a pectoral, and two small gold bracelets. Given that these bones were articulated, we have interpreted this context as the remains of an infant burial or a substitute effigy.
