Description:
Cast tumbaga figurative pendant. The figure has two possible readings: two supernatural prickly lobsters each carry two human heads on their carapaces or two figures carry the lobsters on their backs. Judging by the characteristics of this piece and other similar pieces, lobsters’ bodies would be completed with precious stones, resins or other materials stuffed into their cephalothorax. It was part of the mortuary ensemble of individual I1 from tomb T1. Conte Style
