Description:
Plate with a ring base and thickened rim on the outside. Red slip on the front of the piece and white (except the base) on the outside, where the decoration was applied as a continuous frieze. The designs are zoomorphic representing a four-legged mammal. This variety of plate is exclusive to funerary deposits and was used to cover the bodies. They have only been found in late tombs.
