Description :   Small gold breastplate in the shape of a stylized butterfly with four holes to hang or sew on the upper part of the plate. The vertical band, embossed on the central vertical axis of the piece, and its general shape, suggest a pair of semicircular wings and it produces a certain resemblance to a very stylized butterfly. Description :   Miniature breastplate. No iconographic decoration. It was split in half and next to two cuffs one inside the other, a group of small beads and a pendant, all made of gold. All these pieces seem to have been part of a miniature artifact package deposited inside tomb T3. Tomb T3 has not been excavated at the date of registration of this file. This breastplate, and the group of artifacts that accompanied it, was found by chance while a series of repairs were being carried out in the excavation area at the beginning of the excavation campaign in 2011.

Description :   Hammered gold discoidal pectoral, embossed with the frontal representation of the face of a supernatural being with features of a mythical crocodile. It has two suspension holes on either side of the nose for fastening or hanging the object. The face has a wide, prominent nose with unmarked nostrils and round eyes. The fleshy mouth shows two rows of zigzagged teeth and below it hangs a wide, slightly bifurcated tongue. From the area between the eyes, the nose, and the base of the forehead, there are two ridges that are curled at the ends which delimit the head and form the oval of the face, m...

Description :   Hammered gold discoidal pectoral embossed with the mirror image of two supernatural hybrid beings of bird and reptile. It has two holes for suspension at the height of the eyes of the figures. Conte Style Although the piece is very deteriorated it is possible to observe two quadrupeds in profile each with a bird´s head, from which a long crest emerges backwards following the line of the body; almond eyes; a long and wide beak; two short legs attached to the body with claws; and a long serrated tail that curves towards the central axis of the design. The crest is decorated with a curved pat...

Description :   Breastplate with designs of two bipedal figures with deer antlers on the head, claws and long feathered tails. It was found along with other artifacts, in the NE corner of the third level grave pit of tomb T2, as an offering. It wasn't associated with a body. A packet of copper plates and some belt pendants made from sperm whale teeth were resting on it.

Description :   Extremely fragmented laminar artifact made of gold and copper of which remains a curved rim. This rim leads us to believe that it could be the remains of a butterfly shape breastplate like those associated with individual I7 of this tomb. It was found above the remains of individual I4’s head.

Description :   Breastplate made of a hammered gold and copper alloy in the form of a stylised butterfly in flight with an embossed central body. In the upper part of the plate there is one of the two or more holes for hanging or sewing that would have almost certainly been used to allow the piece to be worn. Conte Metallurgical Group The sheet, which is of a semicircular shape, has a slightly fusiform figure embossed on its central axis with a thickening of the upper middle part, which gives the pectoral a certain resemblance to a very stylized butterfly in flight. Its four wings would have been cast in ...

Description :   Gold breastplate in the shape of a stylized butterfly in flight. It has four perforations, to allow it to be hung or sewn to clothing, in the upper part of the plate. Conte Metallurgical Group From an embossed central axis consisting of two strips joined together and separated in the centre, leaving a fusiform space, the shape of the plate suggests a pair of concave semicircular wings, which gives the piece a certain resemblance to a very stylised butterfly in flight. Its four wings would have been cast in twos. The head, thorax and abdomen are condensed into a fusiform element surrounded...

Description :   Gold and copper laminated artifact. It is badly deteriorated. One of the larger fragments is a curved edge. This is similar to the curved edges of the butterfly shaped pectorals associated with individual I7 in this tomb. It is therefore possible that it is also a butterfly shaped pectoral.
