The Archaeological Research Centre of the Isthmus, ARCI

The Fundación El Caño carries out at the ARCI most of its research, analysis, documentation and conservation work on the archaeological materials recovered in the excavation campaigns and which, duly documented, become part of the Patrimonio Nacional Panameño. 

Located in the City of Knowledge, Clayton, Panama, the ARCI is also the headquarters of the El Caño Foundation and the main work center of the El Caño Project researchers, when they are not doing fieldwork. 

In addition, the ARCI holds meetings and seminars in which researchers from other centers and universities participate, and attends to visitors who are interested in the Foundation´s work.
