A stone causeway connected the Rio Grande de Coclé with the Ceremonial Center and the Necropolis of El Caño.          

The causeway was 400 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. It was built with selected river pebbles. The only section of the road that remains is the stretch of 20 meters which is inside of the archaeological park, near the main alignment. This road connected the river with the ceremon al-burial grounds, which is one of the access to this place
