Description :   UE375. Fill of earth of post hole UE374. It differs clearly from the upper fill UE327, and possesses the characteristic reddish stain in the shape of a circular corona that has been interpreted as the residue left by the in situ decomposition of post UE287/288. This same feature occurs in the fill of 13 post holes that were created and housed the same number of posts in the perimeter ring that reinforced the walls of the lower part of burial pit UE277. Situated below UE327 and fills UE374.

Description :   UE376. Post hole located on the NE flank of pit (stratigraphic unit UE277), to the SE of stratigraphic unit UE374 and to the NW of stratigraphic unit UE378. It was used to house post stratigraphic units UE285 and UE286. This is one of the 27 post holes made at the bottom of pit UE277 at the time of the initial construction of tomb T7. These holes are lined up next to the base of the walls of the lower part of the tomb, and are distributed around the entire inner perimeter of the tomb at approximately regular intervals. It is completely excavated in the geological substratum of the area. It is...

It seems clear, therefore, that these 13 holes fulfilled the function for which they were created, and housed the same number of posts in the perimeter ring that reinforced the walls of th...

Description :   Necklace of gold beads. It was probably made with wooden beads that have now disappeared. From it, only the gold covers used to line them are preserved (68 covers). The beads represent feathers. The serrated part represents the feather (soft barbs at the base of the feathers), while the elongated part represents the vane. Similar necklaces made with shell beads have been found in the tombs of Playa Venado and Panamá Viejo. Julia Mayo excavated a workshop of feather type shell beads at Sitio Cerro Juan Díaz in Los Santos in 2001.
