Description :   A human figure in an attitude of offering, carrying an infant in their arms, with a monkey perched on their shoulders clinging to their head. Carved from a sperm whale´s tooth. The human figures are naked with no sex markings; the hands, feet, and ears of the adult are covered with thin sheets of hammered gold. The animal figure lacks the two rear extremities, although it is possible to detect their starting point; the preserved extremities—the upper part of the head, the tail, and the eyes—are covered with gold. Description :   Miniature breastplate. No iconographic decoration. It was split in half and next to two cuffs one inside the other, a group of small beads and a pendant, all made of gold. All these pieces seem to have been part of a miniature artifact package deposited inside tomb T3. Tomb T3 has not been excavated at the date of registration of this file. This breastplate, and the group of artifacts that accompanied it, was found by chance while a series of repairs were being carried out in the excavation area at the beginning of the excavation campaign in 2011.
